Tassuvieheilyä

Kauniin päivän päätteeksi menimme iltasella lähipellolle vetämään tassuviehettä koko porukalle.

Olipa kivaa, pitkästä aikaa!

Ehdottomasti hulluimmat vieheen perään olivat Hero ja Iivari. Q ja Yosal ajoivat myös hienosti viehettä, mutta palautuksen aikana tekivät omat jumppaliikkeensä ja kirmailivat pitkin peltoja tehden vähän omatoimista treeniä siinä sivussa :-D

Tassuviehettä meillä vedetään lähinnä sen takia, että se on meidän porukan mielestä niin kivaa! Toki samalla tulee treenattua lähtönopeutta, mutta muu treeni tulee hoidettua sitten muulla tavalla. Hauskaa leikkiä siis koirille!

Jotain kuvia sain otettua, tosin laadulla ei kovin kerskailla (no ihan niin kuin muuten sitten kerskailtaisiin). Oli vähän kinkkistä kuvata yhdellä kädellä ja pidellä toisessa kädessä kolmea tempovaa ja huutavaa koiraa. Siksipä osa kuvista on ihan väärin valottuneita / tärähtäneitä.

Hero pääsi ihan ekana, voi kun toinen tykkäsi!

Hero treenaa itse itsensä. Kuljetettuaan viehettä sopivan verran poispäin "tukipisteestä", kiristyy kuminauha sen verran, että Hero saakin irti päästettyään juosta heti uuden vedon!

Mr. Q oli myös innoissaan!

Vieheen perusteellinen tappaminen on Qlle tärkeintä..

Ja sillä välin kun "iskä" palauttaa vieheen voi juosta omat spurtit!

Iivari ei paljon turhia spurttaile, katse tiiviisti vieheessä koko ajan.

Ja tappo!

Yosalkin ajoi hienosti tekopupua!

Mutta muisti myös suorittaa omatoimiharjoitukset "väliajoilla" ;-)

This evening we walked to the nearest field and played a little bit with the dogs. They got to chase the lure, a self made rubber band lure. I don't know the correct term for this in English, but in Finland we call it "paw lure". The idea is to hook the other end of the rubber band to the ground, and attach a lure to the other end. We use a 15m long and 8mm thick rubber band. Then you simply pull and tighten the rubber band as long as you dare and then release it. It will work like a lure to the dogs and they love to play with it, sometimes carrying the lure on their own so far that they have to run again and again to catch it when the rubber band tightens and comes back. Our 15 meters of rubber band will stretch only as far as 50 meters, but it's a lot of fun and also a works the starting speed of the dog.

Hero and Iivari were clearly the most crazy ones about the lure. Q and Yosal also chased it but whenever the lure wasn't moving they decided to do a little exercises of their own. So they ran around the field like maniacs, but I'm sure they had lots and lots of fun!

Above you can see some photos from our play/training session. Unfortunately the photos are of really bad quality. It was A BIT tricky to take photos with one hand while at the same time trying to hold three excited dogs in the other hand. But you get the point of what we were doing ;-)
